I was impressed how easy this went together. I did find the instructions a little confusing. But smart daughter with Engineering skills helped figure it out. I used 'Trap Anchors" connected to chains to hold the unit down. I also backed up the elastic tarp holders with simple zip ties for extra strength.For a 57 year old woman, the assembly of the shade was easy and quick. Once set up, it looked very sturdy and stable. I enjoyed a cool drink under my shade and my grandkids will enjoy it tooWas a little difficult to read the instructions. Once I figured them out, it went up quite easily.I use this in my driveway for my new truck. It is excellent and easy to assemble. I tied it down good and so far no issues with wind or storms. I live near the oceanBought for a carport for boat works well good quality for the money clips together so doesn’t fall apart when you move itOver all it went up easy. The extra I paid for this size tube and the top was worth it. The old bargain white tube style with flat sheet top was torn to shreds in a wind storm. The over hang top is nice because it keeps the Florida sun off the strech ties. Tie it down good, I used anchors in concrete and eighth inch SS cable to the tops of each leg. The adjustable leg height was nice for sloping yard like mine. Hint: The angle connectors "slide" onto the poles past the spring pins. Took me right about an hour BY MYSELF. We will see how it holds up! I will be using wire for the anchors just to be safe, that’s the only upgrade I will be doing to it.
