After a couple mishaps, we finally have it up and standing. Recommend buying better stakes to nail in ground than what comes with it, but the manufacturers are so kind and so easy to work with. We had to have legs replaced and then a different size and they were very understanding and quick to get the parts shipped to us. Overall I am happy with this purchase for my tractorOrdered and received 2 of these. They are really nice and the company selling them is great to work with. One of mine got messed up after I put it up from a severe storm that rolled in about a week after putting it up. I contacted the company and they quickly got me the replacement parts to get it back together. I would recommend using ratchet straps to secure them down, the dainty rope that came with them snapped easily. Other than that, these things are huge and nice.I bought this tent to create a garage for an engine swap for my truck . It’s all set up andI’m happy with this purchase.two aspects I've noticed .... one right away and the other now that it has been 4-6 months in use, and these are as follows. 1. depending on what height you decide to assemble this tent at ( mine is 7ft from the base of the vertical poles to the fitting that it connects to.) The outside four corners are not protected from the rain as the roof covering extends only 2/3 of the way down the pole. At the top of the leg covering where it connects to the roof it measures about 8.1in. wide and tapers down to about 2.25in. leaving the bottom 1/3 of the verticals on 4 corners exposed. which is no big if you park a car in the tent. Mine is a workshop.2.the zippers are cheap and are beginning to fail and are also breaking away from the tarp at bottom from normal use.I still love this tent! It is so tall inside and was easier to put together than any other tent I've ever assembled due to the spring loaded pushbutton fastening system they chose to use.I'd love to see them make a few improvements that would greatly increase the value of this product. We bought the 10 X 20 carport. Took a little bit of time to put up, but the directions were great and very helpful. We put it up and a few months after a small tree fell on the carport. It did not rip the heavy duty plastic but did bend 5 of the steel poles. I contacted the company to see about obtaining replacement poles. They contacted me today and are sending out the 5 steel poles I need free of charge. What great customer service!I put this up myself in a couple hours, the spring clips definitely make this easier than just friction fit. Tube walls seems very thin to me (and not 1.2mm, but I haven't put a caliper on it). I bought several lengths of electrical conduit to add bracing to the frame, and that stuff looks thicker than the included poles. Not unexpectedly, the small bolts provided to attach the feet, pole extensions and cross bracing are garbage. They striped out with minimal effort. I replaced them all with grade 5 hardware from a local "agricultural implement" supply - $15 bucks well spent. I haven't put up the tarp yet, but have a second recycled billboard to serve as a second tarp layer. No review of any of these tent garages has anything good to say about the longevity of the tarps. With the feet fastened to 4x4 timbers and cross bracing on 3 walls. the frame is pleasantly stiff. The included bracing is nice, but nowhere near sufficient (and I did not expect it to be). My recommendation after reading dozens of reviews of many different manufacturers' products is to view these structures as very temporary, or as a platform that you should plan to build out with the expected lifespan matching the amount of increased effort put into building it. I'll update as I see how this first winter goes - I'm in the N.E. US.Update 12/11/21 - We've had 2 serious wind storms (50+ mph) since I got this garage all the way up and fully braced (August 2021) (including corner to corner 1/8 wire bracing tensioned with turnbuckles) After the first storm I was delighted that everything was fine. After the second, at the first of December, my garage had lifted wholesale (literally) off my truck with 6 4x4 post/bases attached and landed on its side. Remarkably, only my side mirror was scratched with no other damage to my truck. I can't speak to the original construction of this garage since I added so much reinforcement, but I'll share my lessons learned. I had staked each side down with 2, 2ft rebar stakes. These were insufficient, despite a couple hundred pounds of wood also weighing things down. Also. I left the door open. My overall build held up fine the first major windstorm but the second storm lifted the whole structure into the air, likely due to a different direction in the wind that swept inside (and under). I was able to right things, and will need to replace about 1/2 the vertical posts that were badly kinked, but lesson learned and I hope to get several years out of this once I weigh and stake it down better. Pic of the aftermath added (I had already worked to straighten things a bit at this point. The canopy was very easy to assemble and was able to be done within 2 hours, from out of the box to complete, not including foundation bolting of the legs if desired. Note that it will require 2 people ( a third helper is nice) to do so. The instructions do require a magnifying glass to be able to read ! , but all items are clearly identified and assembly is for the most part common sense. This is a well made product and well worth the cost. Would recommend it to others readily.
